Today is a very special day for rubber duck collectors around the world. You see, today is Duckfest 2011 in Seattle, Washington at the home of Charlotte Lee-the Guinness Book of World Records holder for the largest duckie collection! Let me explain a little about Duckfest for those who are not familiar with it. Duckfest is the only national convention for rubber duck collectors. At Duckfest you will find selling and trading of rubber ducks, rubber duck games, rubber duck themed food, and everything else duck-a-licious! The last Duckfest was held in NYC. You can see pics of it here. This year is a special year because those who attend will get to see the largest rubber duck collection in the world! That’s over 5,000 ducks!!!
